JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 31-03-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case under Sections 302/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel submits that the F.I.R. is based on circumstantial evidence and there is no allegation that the petitioner is involved in the murder of Punam Devi, second wife of Ranjit Singh. The allegation against the petitioner at most is of helping the accused in carrying the dead body to Kosi River and its disappearance.
In the circumstances, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5000/- (Five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Uda
