JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-02-2015 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.

It is alleged that through the tractor of the petitioner, food grains from the PDS dealership of Bindeshwari Prasad and Satyadeo Baitha were being carried after taking delivery from the go-down of State Food Corporation.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been roped in the present case since he is owner of the tractor when tractor was hired by the grain owner. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
