2. This is an application for regular bail on behalf of the petitioner for the offences alleged under Sections 309(6) and 317(2) of the BNS and Section 25(1-b) a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act, registered in connection with Rajoun P.S.Case No. 178 of 2025.

3. According to the FIR, four accused persons on two motor-cycles intercepted the truck of the informant and they started assaulting the driver and co-driver and snatched Rs.3000/- from their possession. Soon thereafter, two of them, the petitioner and co-accused Shailesh Kumar were arrested and one country-made pistol was recovered from the possession of the petitioner while the looted money of Rs.3000/- was recovered from the possession of co-accused Shailesh Kumar along with a live cartridge. Two motor-cycles were also recovered from the place of occurrence.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the person of clean antecedents and is in custody since 16.04.2025.

5. Considering the above facts and circumstances, clean antecedents and period of incarceration, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Banka in connection with Rajoun P.S.Case No. 178 of 2025, subject to the following conditions:-

1. The petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.

2. Before accepting the bail bond, the court below shall verify the criminal antecedents of the petitioner and if it is found that he is involved in any other criminal case, except the present one, his bail bond shall not be accepted. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) HR/- U T
