The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chousa P.S. Case No. 44 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act. The allegation is regarding recovery of 8.5 liters of illicit liquor from the straw hut of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no recovery has been from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 04.03.2018.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30375 of 2018 (2) dt.22-05-2018 2/2 on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Uda-Kishunganj, District-Madhepura in connection with Chousa P.S.
