The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That for issuance of appropriate writ/writs in the nature with of mandamus, directing the respondents to removal encroachment over the land appertaining to Thana No. 94, Khata No. 151, Khesra (Plot) 202, 203, 207, 212, 216 and land appertaining Khata No. 150, Plot No. 221 in Mauza Padri Circle Dhobhi District-Gaya which is recorded as a water body as well as Anabad Bihar Sarkar and has been forcibly encroached upon by the local land Mafia and boundary wall erected, around the said land and for appropriate direction/directions to respondent No. 3 directing

Patna High Court CWJC No.11153 of 2023(2) dt.22-08-2023 2/2 him to initiate encroachment proceedings against the land encroachers who have been encroached upon the water body and a Public Land and take it to logical conclusion within a reasonable period." 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Circle Officer, Dobhi, District-Gaya for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, the petitioner approaches the Circle Officer, Dobhi, District-Gaya by filing appropriate petition under the provisions of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and after hearing the affected parties, appropriate orders shall be passed thereon, forthwith.

The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
