JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-02-2016 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147,148,149,341,323,307,353,332,333,467,468,471,472 and 473 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is that the informant being police officer raided the house of Shambhu Yadav as he was processing the counterfeit currency notes when his two companions started fleeing away, however, they were apprehended and on search one black bag containing counterfeit currency notes and apparatus used for preparing the same and chemical were recovered. In the meantime, Shambhu Yadav and his wife started shouting when 10-12 persons variously armed made assault to the police

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8575 of 2016 (2) dt.23-02-2016 2/2 personnels as a result the police personnels received injury. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation is omnibus and general against the petitioner. The injuries have been found to be simple.

Considering the nature of accusation, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in case the petitioner surrenders within six weeks from today in connection with Laukahi P.S. Case No. 236 of 2015 pending in the court of learned J.M. Jhanjharpur.

This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
