(i) That an appropriate writ may be issued commanding upon the respondent authority to grant IlI rd Promotion under A.C.P. Scheme to the petitioner from the date he completed 30 years of service.

(ii) That an appropriate writ may be issued commanding upon the respondent authority to pay arrears of salary and arrears of pension immediately after grant of III rd Promotion under A.C.P. Scheme and refixing the Salary and Pension all

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
