2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 448 and 365 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. It is alleged that the husband of the informant was kidnapped by this petitioner and other accused persons. It is further alleged that the victim was assaulted and left in the jungle.

4. In view of the fact that petitioner has come for anticipatory bail in a case lodged in connection with Barachatti P. S. Case No. 73 of 2014 registered on 20.02.2014, it appears

There is no explanation as to why the petitioner took more than 10 years to file this application. Considering the delay in filing the application, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
