JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 04-11-2019 This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Complaint Case No. 1837 of 2018, disclosing offences under Sections 498A, 354 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner happens to be husband of the complainant and allegation against him is of subjecting the complainant to torture with respect to non fulfilment of demand of dowry of Rs. Ten Lakhs.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that all the allegations are false and concocted and he is still ready to keep the complainant with full honour and dignity as a

Heard learned A.P.P. as well as learned counsel for the complainant. Learned counsel for the complainant opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail and submitted that petitioner and other accused persons came to the house of complainant and tried to commit rape with the sister of the complainant and outraged the modesty of the mother of the complainant and also the of the complainant herself.

Having heard both sides, considering the facts and circumstances, this application is allowed. Provisional bail earlier granted to the petitioner vide order dated 13.08.2019 is confirmed.
