The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Purnahia P.S. Case No. 29 of 2018 dated 31.03.2018 for the offences punishable under Section(s) 30(A)/33/36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
The allegation is regarding the recovery of 297 liters of illicit liquor from the house of one Gonaur Sahni. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was merely standing on the road, as such he has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 01.04.2018.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30722 of 2018 (2) dt.22-05-2018 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.-I-cum-Special Judge, Sheohar in connection with Purnahia P.S.
