JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 02-05-2016 The petitioner, who happens to be the mother in law of the deceased, apprehend her arrest in a case under sections 498A, 304B of the Indian Penal Code on the allegation that she along with other family members killed informant's cousin sister for non fulfillment of dowry demand.

The petitioner submits that in fact informant's cousin sister got burn injuries while preparing food and she was taken to the doctor where she died. She states that she has been roped in the case, only on suspicion due to old enmity. The petitioner may take all these grounds for seeking regular bail. So far prayer for grant of anticipatory bail is concerned, I am not inclined to accede to the prayer of the petitioner and the same is as such refused.
