JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 16-05-2018 Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 21.09.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 46580 of 2017 with a direction to expedite the trial. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner and nothing specific has been attributed against the petitioner and he is in custody since 15.03.2017 and after framing charge no witnesses has been examined.

Heard learned A.P.P. who opposes the prayer for bail due to the petitioner happens to be husband of the deceased. In such view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and it is accordingly rejected.

No.29470 of 2018 (2) dt.16-05-2018 2/2 H However, since the petitioner is in custody since 15.03.2017 and accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected with a direction to the learned trial Court to expedite the trial so as to concluded the same as early as possible.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
