The petitioners are languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Liquor was allegedly recovered from a Tata vehicle. The petitioners have stated on oath that they have got no criminal antecedent. They are in custody since 07.10.2020. Investigation of the case is already complete. There is nothing to alleged that the petitioners are going to tamper with the evidence.

No.6837 of 2021(2) dt.27-04-2021 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Excise Case No.1468 of 2020, arising out of Charpokhari P.S. Case No.176 of 2020, with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below. (b) The petitioners shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioners.
