The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 379, 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation is that on 25.04.2019 thieves were loading rice on the tempo from the rice mill of the informant. The villagers raised alarm and one thief i.e. the petitioner was caught red handed.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 25.04.2019. Charge sheet has been submitted in this case. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is a tempo driver. He had no knowledge that the rice in question is stolen property.
