JUSTICE BIRENDRA PRASAD VERMA ORAL ORDER 19-03-2015 Despite repeated calls, none appears on behalf of the petitioner in support of the present writ petition. However, learned State counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, by referring to the averments made in the counter affidavits filed separately on behalf of the different respondents, submits that with the passage of time the present matter has become infructuous, as the tender was issued in the year 2009 for supply of polythene sheets. According to him, such short term tenders are issued every year

Patna High Court CWJC No.10606 of 2010 (5) dt.19-03-2015 for purchase of polythene sheets and other disaster control materials. According to him, the period is over and, therefore, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the present writ petition. Be that as it may, since none is appearing on behalf of the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution.
