The petitioner seeks bail in Excise Case No. 187/2019, instituted for offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

It is alleged in the written report that 3403.800 litres of foreign liquor has been recovered from a truck, hidden under the paddy straw. Petitioner is said to be driver of the aforesaid vehicle.

Keeping in view the recovery of huge quantity of illicit liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.

Petitioner may renew prayer for bail after six months
