JUSTICE P. B. BAJANTHRI) 16-12-2024 The present petition is filed in assailing the order of the Central Administrative tribunal dated 12.04.2023 passed in O.A. No. 050/00230 of 2021.

2. The core issue involved in the present lis is whether respondent - Madan Mohan Prasad, who has attained the age of

Patna High Court CWJC No.12864 of 2024(5) dt.16-12-2024 2/2 superannuation and retired from service on 30.06.2020 is entitled to annual increment which was due on 01.07.2020, just a day after his retirement i.e. on 30.06.2020. It is too trivial issue to adjudicate on the decision of the Central Administrative Tribunal, Patna. Such a trivial issue of one day difference insofar as denying annual increment and refixation of his pay, pension, and retiral benefits would be too technical.

3. Accordingly, the petitioner have not made out a case hence, the present Civil Writ Jurisdiction Case No. 12864 of 2024 stands disposed.
