JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-01-2024 At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has filed an appeal on 25.05.2018 before the District Magistrate, Gaya against the order dated 03.05.2018, passed by the Deputy Development Commissioner, Gaya, however the said appeal has not yet been disposed off, hence appropriate directions be issued for disposal of the same.

The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid appeal filed by the petitioner is still pending, the same shall definitely been disposed off, within a stipulated time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Gaya to dispose off the aforesaid appeal, filed by the petitioner on 25.05.2018, in case the same has not already been disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
