JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 17-05-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody since 19.3.2018, seeks bail in Chainpur PS Case No. 40 of 2018 registered under Sections 457, 380 of the IPC and Section 37(b) of Bihar Prohibitio of Excise Act.. The allegation in brief is that the petitioner was apprehended on the spot after chase and the allegation is that twenty thousand cash and some jewelry were taken by him but nothing was recovered from his possession moreover he has no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Ramesh Rai is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge IV -cum- Special Judge (Excise), East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Chainpur PS Case No. 40 of 2018.
