JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 23-11-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Arvind Kumar, learned counsel for the Vigilance Investigation Bureau and Mr. Anil Kumar, learned AC to SC-8 for the State. This writ application has been filed for quashing of the First Information Report vide Vigilance P.S. Case No. 28 of 2015 dated 08.04.2015 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 477(A) and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and 7/13(2) read with Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act against the petitioner and others.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner as

WJC No.320 of 2017(7) dt.23-11-2022 2/2 well as learned counsel for the Vigilance Investigation Bureau inform this Court that in this case the investigation is complete and upon completion of investigation no sufficient material could be found against the petitioner, hence a final form has been submitted in the learned court below.

Mr. Arvind Kumar, learned counsel submits that since the investigating agency has already submitted a final form, the prayer of the petitioner to quash the First Information Report has in fact become infructuous.

Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees with the same.

This writ application is, thus, dismissed as having become infructuous.
