2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Dhansoi P.S. Case No. 115 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 61(2) of BNS, 2023.

3. As per allegation, the marriage of the informant's daughter was solemnized with the petitioner ten years ago. After marriage, the accused persons including the petitioner tortured the victim for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. It is further alleged that the accused persons including the petitioner strangulated and killed his daughter.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The post-mortem report is contrary to the FIR. In the FIR, it has been alleged that the deceased was strangulated to death whereas in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48800 of 2025(3) dt.10-10-2025 2/2 post-mortem report, the death was found due to electrocution. His further submission is that on exactly similar footing, co-accused Gaya Singh has been granted anticipatory bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 07.05.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 25637 of 2025 whereas co-accused Ramwati Devi and Pramod Singh have been granted regular bail by this Court vide order dated 19.02.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 4853 of 2025. He has also submitted that when the informant realized the mistake, he compromised the case.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Dhansoi P.S. Case No. 115 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall cooperate in the disposal of trial and make himself available as and when required by the court.
