The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Teterhat P.S. Case No.79 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The informant, a police officer, disclosed that he got information that petitioner was preparing and selling country made liquor from his house. When the raid was conducted, petitioner managed to flee away but from the house of the petitioner, 7 liters of country made liquor, semi-manufactured country made liquor and other articles were recovered. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that recovery was made from the verandah of the house of the petitioner.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48652 of 2019(2) dt.05-08-2019 2/2 Taking into consideration the fact that recovery of liquor and semi-manufactured liquor was made from the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
