That this is an application for Issuance of a writ in the nature of writ of mandamus or an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders or direction/directions commanding the respondents to place the name of the petitioner in the waiting

Patna High Court CWJC No.17909 of 2021(2) dt.28-02-2024 2/2 list under SC category issued by the Department of Revenue & Land Reforms, Govt. of Bihar, Patna for appointment on the post of Amin whose name has been kept in the reject list on the sole ground that the qualification of Amanat of the petitioner is not from a government recognized institute whereas so many candidates has been placed in the waiting list who have their certificates from the same institute i.e. from National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology, Patna (Government Polytechnic Vaishali, Bihar) Affiliated by State Board of Technical Education, approved by the all India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) AND/OR be pleased to pass such other order or orders which may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondents authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
