It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that despite the order of the Divisional Commissioner, Magadh Division, Gaya remanding the matter of the petitioner to the District Magistrate, Gaya on 16.10.2014 for taking a decision afresh after getting the opinion of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya regarding grant of licence for D.B.B.L. gun, the matter has been kept pending by the licensing authority till date.

Patna High Court CWJC No.3470 of 2016 (2) dt.29-02-2016 2 / 2 Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate - cum - licensing authority, Gaya to take a decision in the matter of the petitioner on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, if the same has not already been taken.
