The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case No. 136 of 2018 (arising out of Special Case No. 2614 of 2018) for the offences punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation is regarding the recovery of 300 liters of spirit like substance from a tanker being driven by the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that till date the identity of the said liquid has not been established and moreover the petitioner is the driver and not the owner of the tanker, hence, he was not knowing as to what was being carried in the said tanker. It is further submitted that the petitioner has a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 20.03.2018.

Case No. 136 of 2018 (arising out of Special Case No. 2614 of 2018).
