2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief/s :- "(a) For issuance of an appropriate writ directing and commanding the respondent to appoint the younger son namely Shwetank Kumar on compassionate ground in the Bank of India.
Patna High Court CWJC No.10792 of 2026 dt.23-07-2026 2/3 (b) For issuance of an appropriate writ directing and commanding the respondents to make proper compensation to the petitioner.
(C) Any other relief/reliefs that the petitioner may found to be entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the case."
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits a request has been made for appointment on compassionate ground for the younger brother of the deceased employee. He further submits that the petitioner has filed a representation as contained in Annexure -7 to the writ petition before the respondent No.3, namely, the Zonal Manager, Bank of India, Navi Mumbai Zone, Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra) for redressal of her grievances, but till date no decision has been taken on the said representation.
4. Learned counsel for the State submits that a direction may be issued for disposal of the petitioner's representation within a specified period.
5. This Court is of the opinion that keeping pending the present writ petiton shall not serve any useful purpose.
6. In the aforesaid background, the respondent No.3, namely, the Zonal Manager, Bank of India, Navi Mumbai Zone, Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra), is directed to take a decision on
Patna High Court CWJC No.10792 of 2026 dt.23-07-2026 3/3 the representation of the petitioner, as contained in Annexure P/7 to the writ petition, within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The petitioner would be at liberty to supplement her earlier representation, if so advised.
7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
