Mr. Khurshid Anwar, APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE BIRENDRA KUMAR ORAL ORDER 14-07-2021 Heard the parties in virtual Court proceeding. The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 384/386/387 of the Indian Penal Code as well as under Sections 66A/66C of the I.T. Act. According to FIR, ransom was demanded on mobile call by unknown miscreants. Name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused.

Submission is that no substantial material came during police investigation regarding petitioner's involvement. Co-accused Chandan Kumar has been allowed bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court.

Considering the submission aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6834 of 2021(4) dt.14-07-2021 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with Masaurhi P.S. Case No.373 of 2020, with following conditions: (a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.

(c) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
