Petitioner in the present case is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Trial No. 2227 of 2019 arising out of Complaint Case No. C-1276 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Perused the mediation report at Flag 'M'. It appears that the parties have settled their dispute amicably and under the settlement the petitioner has agreed to pay a sum Rs. 6,00,000/- to opposite party no. 2, in fact the said amount has already been received by the opposite party no. 2 as has been stated in Paragraph '1' of the settlement conditions.

No.47294 of 2019(6) dt.18-12-2019 2/2 In the aforesaid view of the matter, let the petitioner above named in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 15,000/- (fifteen thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Sadar at Motihar, East Champaran in connection with Trial No. 2227 of 2019 arising out of C-1276 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. i.e. (i) a condition that the person shall make himself available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required;
(ii) a condition that the person shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer; (iii) a condition that the person shall not leave India without the previous permission of the Court.
