Petitioner seeks bail in Garka P.S. Case No. 288 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code.

The FIR has been registered on the written report of Choukidar Raj Raman Mahto against unknown for recovery of dead body of a lady on 26.06.2020 around 7:00 am kept in a bag floating in a pond. The head, both hands and both legs of the body were imputated. The head was found nearby the dead boy but hands and legs could not be found. There was a gathering at the place of recovery but the dead body could not be identified. Considering the statement of the mother of the deceased recorded in para 8 of the case diary in which she disclosed that since the deceased had illicit relation with a boy of her village,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5850 of 2021(4) dt.15-07-2021 2/2 the petitioner-accused has committed the murder of the deceased and also in para 31 accused petitioner has confessed that he has killed his daughter, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner.
