The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has antecedent of one case in which he is on bail, it is next submitted that the FIR came to be instituted alleging that petitioner had submitted a forged character certificate and had not disclosed his antecedent.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, it is next submitted that petitioner is a bonafide government

No.50256 of 2022(2) dt.20-10-2022 2/2 contractor and he had applied for a contract in which the requisite documents were asked for and accordingly he had submitted the same, it is further submitted that he was completely unaware that the character certificate which was submitted by him was valid for only six months as such no forgery was committed by the petitioner for seeking the tender. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Kotwali P.S. Case No. 529 of 2021 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
