2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 344, 366, 370(3) of the Indian Penal Code registered in connection with Dawath P.S. Case No. 17 of 2019.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with the informant's niece having been sold to co-accused Jai Prakash. It is submitted that the petitioner merely happens to be the owner of the premises which had been given on rent to the said co-accused Jai Prakash and the girls have been recovered from the tenanted portion of the house. The two victim girls are major and there is nothing in their statement recorded under Section 164 Cr. P.C. to implicate the petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52540 of 2019(2) dt.22-08-2019 2/2 rather they have named co-accused Jai Prakash and his wife.
4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and the gravity of the offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed.
