JUSTICE SHAILENDRA SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-08-2025 Heard Mr. Umesh Kumar Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner, Ms. Deepshikha, learned counsel for the O.P. No.2 and Mr. Suresh Pd. Singh, learned APP for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Bettiah Mahila P.S. Case No. 20 of 2025 dated 14.05.2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 64(1), 318(4) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 4 and 6 of the POCSO Act.

3. The main submissions advanced by petitioner's counsel are that as per allegation, this petitioner established physical relation with the informant's daughter on the pretext of marrying her but in fact, there was love affair in between them

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50463 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 2/2 and now, a good relation has been established in between them and the informant has filed compromise petition before the trial court supporting the said factum of compromise, the victim was 19 years old at the time of alleged occurrence. It is further submitted that petitioner will marry the informant's daughter after getting released on bail and in this regard, he has filed his written undertaking before the trial court.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the informant has not opposed the aforesaid prayer of the petitioner's counsel.

5. Having considered the aforesaid submissions, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the concerned Court in connection with Bettiah Mahila P.S. Case No. 20 of 2025.
