2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences alleged under Sections 2(11)(20,40(2), 43, 48 and 49 of the Wild Life Protection Act registered in connection with Forest Case No. 37 of 2014.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated merely because he happens to be the owner of the truck in which 1152 alive Ganges soft-shelled turtles kept in 32 jute bags were found to be carried illegally to Kolkata for use in meat and manufacturing of traditional medicines.
4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and the gravity of the offence alleged, this Court is not
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23034 of 2014 (4) dt.10-03-2015 inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The bail petition stands dismissed.
5. If the petitioner surrenders and seeks regular bail before the learned trial Court the same shall be considered on its own merit in accordance with law and without being prejudiced by any observation in the present order. (Vikash Jain, J) Chandran U T
