This application for regular bail arises out of Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 181 of 2010, disclosing the offences under Sections 304(B), 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is the husband of the deceased.

The case was lodged in 2010. It appears that the petitioner had approached this Court for grant of anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc. 21342 of 2014 which was dismissed by an order dated 02.08.2014. Despite dismissal of the petitioner's application for anticipatory bail, he evaded arrest and subsequently, he was declared absconder. He is said to be in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48701 of 2019(3) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 custody since 28.03.2019. Charge sheet had been submitted in 2011 as has been pointed out by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, from the case diary.

Considering the conduct of the petitioner and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to allow the petitioner regular bail at this stage.

This application stands dismissed.

It is however, observed, that the learned court below shall take all steps to expedite conclusion of trial and conclude the same preferably within one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
