The petitioner seeks difference of revised pension as per the 6th Pay Commission due to his late father, which is clamed to have been unpaid even though the father of the petitioner died in August, 2008 whereas the mother of the petitioner while drawing family pension has also passed away on 08.11.2012. From the counter affidavit, it appears that the Senior Treasury Officer, Vaishali, Hajipur by letter dated 07.05.2016 asked the petitioner to provide various details like PPO number, etc. Copy of the counter affidavit was served on learned counsel for the
Patna High Court CWJC No.3704 of 2016 dt.30-09-2016 2/2 petitioner on 20.05.2016. However, neither any rejoinder has been filed nor learned counsel is aware as to whether such request has been complied with by the petitioner.
In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed off with an observation that if the petitioner furnishes the details as asked for by the Senior Treasury Officer, Vaishali, Hajipur in terms of the his letter to the petitioner dated 07.05.2016, the officer concerned shall act upon the same in accordance with law and ensure that if anything is to be paid to the petitioner, the same is paid to him within six weeks from the date of the petitioner furnishing the required information, as asked.
