1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 504, 307, 379 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and the informant alleges that the accused persons including the petitioner intercepted the informant and Banty Singh held his hand while petitioner assaulted him by punches and Karan assaulted him by brick causing injury on head and petitioner snatched Rs.68,000/-, which the informant was carrying as he was coming from Sidhnath Ghat after collecting his due money.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52639 of 2024(2) dt.30-07-2024 2/2 petitioner has been falsely implicated on account of election dispute. It is also submitted that allegation against the petitioner is of punching the informant and as far as allegation of snatching Rs.68,000/- is alleged, the same is ornamental. It is also submitted that petitioner will not abscond rather will cooperate in the investigation.

5. Learned A.P.P. opposes the anticipatory bail application.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner, above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Buxar Town P. S. Case No.299 of 2024, GR No.1545 of 2024, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.

7. The application stands allowed.
