2. The petitioner seeks bail, who is in custody since 13.02.2022 in connection with Rahika P.S. Case No. 20 of 2022, F.I.R. dated 13.02.2022 S.T.No.294 of 2022/27/2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 364, 302, 201, 120(B)/34 of IPC.

3. Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 27.03.2023 passed in Cr.Misc. NO. 32677 of 2023.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 13.02.2022 and the trial is not concluded as yet.

5. As per allegation in the FIR, the dead body of the daughter of the informant was recovered from the house of the petitioner which prima facie established that the petitioner is accused in the present case.

6. Vide order dated 18.07.2025 a report was called for with regard to the present stage of the trial. Report of the learned Trial Court dated 23.07.2025 reveals that the trial is going on and out of 12 witnesses, 09 chargesheet witnesses have been examined.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts as well as report of the learned Trial Court and the evidence which has come during investigation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Rahika P.S. Case No. 20 of 2022, S.T.No.294 of 2022/27/2023 pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Madhubani.

8. Prayer is refused.

9. However, the learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at the earliest. (Rajesh Kumar Verma, J) Nitesh/- U T
