Petitioner seeks bail in Sadar P.S. Case No.242 of 2019 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 400, 401, 216 Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35, and 27(ii) of the Arms Act.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that looted articles have not been recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has been arrested merely on suspicion. In the written report, it is alleged that police made search in the house of petitioner on the information that looted articles/jewellery of Muthut Finance is in the house of the petitioner. Petitioner was arrested and from his possession one

Petitioner is in custody since 05.04.2019.

Keeping in view the period of custody, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur, in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.242 of 2019, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioner.
