2. The petitioner is in judicial custody in connection with Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 30 of 2025 of 2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 64, 351(2) and 351(3) of the Bhartiya Nayay Sanhita, 2023 and section 4 & 6 of the POCSO Act lodged on 12.02.2025 by the informant, XX.

3. As per the prosecution story, the minor girl alleged that when her mother was out, the petitioner who is distantly related as uncle came and committed rape. This led to the FIR.

4. The statement of the victim girl is on record and as

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50164 of 2025(5) dt.12-12-2025 2/2 per it, she has supported the prosecution story.

5. Considering the allegation that has come against the petitioner, for the present, this Court is not inclined to extend him the privilege of bail which is rejected. However, since the petitioner is in custody since 14.02.2025, the Trial Court is directed to see to it that the trial is taken to its logical conclusion.
