2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 36, 41(i) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per prosecution case, total 4950 liters of foreign liquor has been recovered from a truck, bearing registration no. UP78GN-4367 and two motorcycles standing near the aforesaid truck and apprehended co-accused persons disclosed the name of petitioner and others, as the persons who are involved in the trade of illegal liquor and fled away from the spot. Apart from this, petitioner has got 18 (eighteen) criminal antecedent of similar nature. Petitioner is in custody since 29.05.2024.

4. Considering the quantity of recovery and criminal antecedent of similar nature, the prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.
