2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Sanichari P.S. Case No. 49 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under sections 87, 140(3), 303(2), 115(2), 126(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations levelled in the FIR are totally false and in the FIR, the victim's age has been disclosed as 18 years. In fact, the victim was having love affair with the petitioner and later on, she entered into a matrimonial relationship with him and presently she is residing with the petitioner as his wife and in this regard, the victim's own statement recorded before the Judicial Magistrate, as discussed in the trial court's order, is relevant.

4. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer of the petitioner.

Considering the above submissions and mainly taking into account the so-called victim's statement recorded by her before the Judicial Magistrate, as discussed in the trial court's order, this Court is inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court concerned in connection with Sanichari P.S. Case No. 49 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. (Shailendra Singh, J) annu/- U T
