2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 193 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section(s) 8, 20(b)(ii)(c) of the NDPS Act.

3. The petitioner is the mother of the main accused Amit Kumar from whom the recovery of 57.500 Kg of Ganja was made.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. Petitioner is in custody since 29.12.2024. He further submits that main accused Amit Kumar is in custody.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Madhepura/concerned Court below in connection with Puraini P.S. Case No. 193 of 2024 subject to conditions that:- (i). The petitioner will mark his attendance at the Puraini Police Station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
