JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-01-2024 The limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna to dispose off the appeal, filed by the petitioner on 18.05.2022, against the order dated 02.05.2022, passed by the Inspector General (Personnel), Bihar, Patna, within a stipulated time frame.

The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid appeal is still pending, the same shall be disposed off expeditiously.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to dispose off the present writ petition with a direction to the Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna to dispose off the aforesaid appeal, filed by the petitioner, in case the same has not already been disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
