The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under sections 30(a) and 32 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 016.
As per the prosecution case, 16.5 litres of liquor was recovered from the house of the petitioner. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 25.4.2022 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner is in custody since 7.8.2021.

No.50946 of 2022(2) dt.28-09-2022 2/2 Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation, the liberty granted by the earlier order of rejection dated 25.4.2022 and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Birpur P.S. Case no.107 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Judge I, Begusarai.
