JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-04-2016 The petitioners being mother, uncle and aunt of the husband of the victim are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 498A/201 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The prosecution case is of killing the daughter of the informant after little over one year of marriage for nonfulfilment of dowry demand. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that accusation is omnibus and general against the entire in-laws family including the petitioners and the thrust of accusation is against the husband of the victim. It appears that complaint was filed in the year 2008 which came to be registered as police case in the year 2009 but the petitioners have preferred the present application

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14312 of 2016 (2) dt.01-04-2016 P2/2 in the year 2016.

In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to interfere.

Let learned Court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners, if the petitioners surrender within a period of six weeks in connection with Sikandra P.S. Case No. 241 of 2009, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamui.

With the observations above, the application stands disposed of.
