The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Kadamkuan (Kankarbagh) P. S. Case No.950 of 2005 dated 06.12.2005 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 120(B)/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has antecedent of one case. The petitioner is alleged to be the main assailant and the case is of the Year 2005 and the anticipatory bail application has been filed in the Year 2022. The fact that petitioner is alleged to be the main assailant and he has approached this Court at a very belated stage, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

The Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna is directed to take all coercive steps against the petitioner to put him behind bars and thereafter to ensure that speedy trial of the case is held.
