The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is a case of recovery of about 15 liters of country made Mahua from the shop of the petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner has got no concern with the shop from where recovery of illicit liquor has been made. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the aforesaid liquor

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60222 of 2021(2) dt.10-05-2022 2/2 was recovered from the shop of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
