1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) Issuance of an order, direction or writ in nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent authority to restrain the movement of illegal sand mining activities upon the land of petitioner and others situated in the village Kaudiya, under the police station of Bihta, District- Patna.
(ii) Issuance of an order, direction or writ in nature of Mandamus commanding the
Patna High Court CWJC No.10985 of 2024(2) dt.06-08-2024 2/2 respondent authority, specially the mining officer as well as police authorities to take appropriate steps against the persons who are indulged in illegal sand mining, due to which the crops standing on lands of the petitioner and other villagers are being damaged."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Patna as also the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
