Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case instituted under Sections 341, 323, 420 & 34 of Indian Penal Code. The allegation is that the petitioner owes a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- to the informant for which a cheque issued by him bounced.
Learned counsel submits that it is a business dispute and prosecution sides have retained some of his belongings. Having regard to the nature of allegation, in the event of arrest/surrender, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.5,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Smt. Indrani Kisku, J.M. 1st
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11526 of 2016 (2) dt.31-03-2016 2/2 Class, Patna in connection with Shastrinagar P.S. Case No. 643 of 2014, with the condition that petitioner would deposit 50% of the amount in five equal installments in the court below. The first installment of Rs.30,000/- would be deposited within 30 days from today followed by four further installments of similar amount in the subsequent months. The amount so deposited would be subject to the result of the settlement. It will be open for the parties to come to a compromise.
