2. The petitioners have approached this Court for a direction to the respondent/Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment), Bihar for appointing the petitioners on the post of Constable Driver.

3. It appears that even after having cleared all the hurdles in the examination, no appointment letter was issued to the petitioners.

Mr. Sanjay Pandey, learned advocate for the Board has informed this Court that at the time of verification of the documents furnished by aspirants/applicants, including the petitioners, it was found that the handwriting/fingerprint and signature of some of the candidates did not match with their original handwriting/fingerprint/signature in the form as well as in the attendance sheet at the time of mains examination. It was therefore doubted whether such persons had appeared in the examination or had managed to have others write the examination for them. For the aforesaid purpose, a case was lodged vide Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 73 of 2019 in which the petitioners also have been arraigned as accused persons and which FIR is still pending investigation.

5. In the aforesaid background facts, no direction can be issued to the respondent Board for issuing any appointment letter to the petitioners.

6. It would be open for the petitioners to agitate

7. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is dismissed.
